1) Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Communication:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the organisation's goals and values. This includes setting objectives for content marketing, identifying target audiences, and selecting appropriate platforms for message dissemination.
- Editorial & Creative Support: Provide editorial oversight and designs for all online and offline communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and a unified tone across all content. This includes reviewing and editing content created by other departments to maintain high standards.
- Publications: Coordinate the production of the organisation’s quarterly newsletters and Annual Report, including gathering content, liaising with designers and printers, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Digital Content Management: Regularly update and maintain the organisation's website and social media profiles, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging. This includes creating and scheduling posts, monitoring online engagement, and responding to comments and queries in a timely manner.
- Multimedia Storytelling: Lead the development of multimedia content, including short videos and infographics, to enhance storytelling efforts and engage a broader audience. Collaborate with external vendors when necessary to produce high-quality content.
- Content Performance Analysis: Track and analyse the performance of content across various platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights. Use this data to refine content strategies and improve engagement rates.
Branding & Marketing:
- Campaign Management: Work closely with the Community Relations team to plan and execute fundraising/awareness campaigns that promote the organisation's mission, programmes, and events. This includes developing key messages, creating promotional materials, and coordinating online/offline communications.
- Corporate Communications: Develop communication strategies and presentations that effectively convey the organisation’s impact to corporate partners, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries, to strengthen the organisation’s network and support base. This involves regular communication, updates, and opportunities for involvement in the organisation’s activities.
Event Planning & Project Support:
- Event Coordination: Work with the team in planning and organising fundraising events, such as galas and themed campaigns. Responsibilities include budget management and vendor coordination.
- Community Programme Support: Assist in the development and execution of community programmes that align with the organisation's mission. This includes coordinating logistics, engaging volunteers, and ensuring the successful delivery of programmes to target communities.
- Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the department and lead efforts to implement more efficient workflows and innovative communication practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work on projects as directed by the Manager of Community Relations and/or the Executive Director. This may involve collaborating with other departments to achieve strategic objectives and providing support for new initiatives.
2) Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong command of written and spoken English as need to provide editorial oversight for all communications
- Proficiency in social media and digital platforms (TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- An eye for visual design and storytelling.
- Able to produce short videos and reels from conception to completion.
- Skilled in digital software, such as Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), is advantageous.
- Resourceful, creative, adaptable, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Effective organisation and project management skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Prior experience in or understanding of the social service sector is a bonus.
Other Information
- Location: Walking distance from Bukit Batok MRT
- Monday to Friday (Office Hours), required to work on Saturdays (with time-off) occasionally.
