We have exciting opportunities to join our commodity intelligence business on the commercial side during our early fast growth stage.
We are looking for sales-focused, business development managers to join our sales teams as we commercialise our news, prices and data services to a global audience.
It’s a rare opportunity to join a group of highly-experienced journalists and energy industry professionals as we seek to fulfil our goal of becoming a leading one-stop shop providing accurate, reliable and accessible news and data on energy and environmental markets.
Responsibilities
- Research, engage and close new clients in the Asia Pacific Region
- Raise awareness of our brand at senior levels within client organisations
- Develop our product by providing user feedback
- Help clients realise the value of what we bring
Experience and competencies
- A minimum of two years’ experience in B2B data sales, ranging from lead-sourcing to closing
- Comfortable with cold calling and speaking over the phone with prospects
- A proven track record of hitting targets and building networks in new areas
- A hands-on attitude and a keenness to work as part of a growing, fast-moving, hard-working team
- Demonstrable experience as a self-starter that works well under pressure
- Fluent in English and one other language
