Videographer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Filming
You will have expertise with the camera, and understand how to use this tool to effectively convey ideas, emotions and messages from a lifestyle perspective. This is essential because our brands focus on health, beauty and wellness. Storyboarding capabilities are essential, enabling you to plan how to tell your story.
Editing
Your video editing and post-production capabilities are top-notch, enabling you to create the right pace and flow, evoke the right emotions, and tell the right story. Most of your videos will be short and succinct, and oriented towards social media utilisation. As such, your videos will need to adhere to the right video effects, motion graphics, audio-graphic equalisation and vision mixing to engage the target audience and align with each brand’s visual identity.
Photography
Photography skills will be advantageous, because you will perform the role of both videographer and photographer for corporate, community and commercial events. In this regard, your ability to capture the right moments and enhance those moments in the editing and post-production stages is crucial.
Production Management
Besides being able to film and effect post-production, you must have knowledge in production management. In this regard, you must have a strong ability in handling lighting and sound equipment and resources, using these resources to maximise your production.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- solid background in videography and post-production with a focus on lifestyle-oriented social media, backed by a portfolio that showcases your expertise in effective storytelling.
Technical Skills
- Top-notch capabilities in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, as well as good knowledge in handling lighting, sound and production equipment.
Personal Skills
- A keen ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional and diverse teams, as well as the ability to be meticulous, organised and team-focused.
