Manager Product Owner (1-Year Contract)

We are looking for a Product Owner for an established MNC to join their Business Transformation Team for a 1-year contract assignment. As a Product Owner, you will assist Business Transformation Team members in overseeing various projects and their related activities. This includes capturing detailed user stories and requirements from business users and clearly conveying them to IT and development teams. Additionally, you will support the Business Transformation Head in managing the overall program and ensuring the successful execution of key milestones across multiple project streams.

Responsibilities:

· Gather requirements and user stories from business stakeholders.

· Effectively relay these requirements to IT and development teams, ensuring satisfactory completion of tasks before deployment.

· Comprehend the interdependencies between different business processes, workflows, and requirements to facilitate the implementation of functional, process, and product initiatives throughout each stage of transformation.

· Develop accurate project estimates and detailed plans for each phase, and, when necessary, secure adequate resources to meet project goals within the expected timeframe.

· Monitor and manage project hours against the budget, and communicate revised budgets in cases of scope changes.

· Apply creative and analytical thinking to problem-solving using established methodologies.

· Support the Business Transformation Head by providing clear and effective executive-level communication, including weekly progress updates, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations for the BTT and internal business stakeholders.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Certification and proven experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM is mandatory.

· Skilled in project management best practices to manage on-time on-budget goals, and deliver project milestones.

· Certified Scrum Product Owner mandatory.

· +4 years of experience working on complex agile scrum software projects.

· Certified PMP and/or Prince2 preferred.

· Proven experience in managing transformation and process reengineering projects involving software (build/buy) technology components.

· Proven experience in holding others accountable for deliverables and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders including third party vendors, internal IT and cross-functional departments.

· Skilled in problem solving, troubleshooting, project risk mitigation, and problem resolution.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Detailed and good at dissecting user needs.

· Patient and attentive to all stakeholders, including internal team members.

· Self-motivated and autonomous; able to work well individually as well as in a highly collaborative team.

· Interest in learning new techniques and adopting best practices.

· Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, stakeholder management and excellence.

· Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
