Role:
- Manage and maintain the SAS 9.4/Viya platform, including user management, security roles, and system monitoring.
- Ensure the stability and performance of the SAS environment through regular system maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAS application services, and server performance. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across the SAS platform.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Work closely with stakeholders from various business areas to understand their reporting needs and provide solutions that add value.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, system configurations, and user guides.
- Manage the change process, ensuring that all changes to the SAS platform are thoroughly tested, documented, and approved before implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar domain.
- Strong knowledge of SAS 9.4/Viya server architecture.
- Experience in managing large-scale SAS platform, including performance tuning and system monitoring.
- Installation and configuration of SAS 9.4/Viya Platform.
- Experience in migrating SAS 9.4 platform to SAS Viya including SAS objects and data migration.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with documentation and change management processes
- Good track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility.
- Working closely with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while considering business, technical and delivery constraints.
- Experience in banking industry preferred.
