Responsibilities:
- Performs risk-based follow-up of Contractor(s) to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, budget and schedule.
- Provides Contractor(s) with input, clarifications and maintain contact as necessary.
- Liaises with engineering & procurement department to ensure upstream deliverables are aligned.
- Contributes to planning and execution of C&A activities.
- Ensures QHSE performance of Contractor(s) is maintained with continuous improvement.
- Ensures necessary communication with interfacing disciplines and contribute to resolving interface issues in a timely manner.
- Within own discipline, drive engineering efficiency, secure safety in design, design-to-cost and constructability.
- During execution, support construction field engineers and take responsibility for decisions within own discipline within set timeframes, e.g. interdisciplinary input, handling of queries (TQ/SQ/CQ).
- Interfacing with Contractor(s) and client to bridge any communication gaps.
- Ensures experience transfer between projects, operations and discipline network.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Mechanical/Chemical/ Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the marine & offshore industry
- Must have valid relevant discipline related certificates
- Able to station overseas in China
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
- Good in planning, organising, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
