Job Responsibilities:
· Working with a system infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation of the company.
· Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for on-premises environment and on Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC).
· Participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
· Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Degree such as engineering, data communications or computer science. Diploma holders with relevant experience and expertise will be considered.
· System Engineer certification in Linux and/or Microsoft including Virtualization and Cloud.
· At least 4-5 years system administration experience including Linux, Windows, UNIX.
· Must have good experience with Linux, Windows, UNIX (AIX), Virtualization systems.
· Must have good experience with Middleware includes WebSphere Application Servers, WebSphere Message Queue.
· Must have good experience with Backup software includes Veritas NetBackup, Tivoli Storage Manager, that support the IT infrastructure.
· Knowledge and experience in Linux scripting, Vmware Virtualization, Middleware and Cloud (GCC as an advantage).
