Responsibilities:
· Address server vulnerabilities identified by Nessus vulnerability scanner reports.
· Ensure Linux server compliance with CIS standards.
· Apply security patches on ESXi hosts and update ESXi host firmware.
· Monitor PRTG network monitoring tool alerts,
· Resolve alerts promptly to maintain system stability.
· Install, configure, and upgrade TrendMicro Antivirus agents on Linux servers using Ansible Playbooks.
· Manage log systems by installing, configuring, and upgrading Splunk Universal Forwarders
· Develop and execute Ansible Playbooks for various tasks, including server report generation, SNMP configuration, and syslog setup.
· Reconfigure VM resources in Nutanix and VMware environments based on user requests and approvals.
Skills/Requirement
· Experience working with Ansible Automation Platform preferably in an enterprise environment.
· Proficient in writing Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules
· Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and Scripting
