- Fridays : 8.30 am to 5.30pm

Minimum qualifications
GCE- O levels/ Diploma
Salary ranges from $2,500 - $3,000 per month depending on qualification and relevant working experience.
We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, and patient Asset Capitalisation Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess basic accounting knowledge, particularly in handling Asset Capitalisation queries from the Finance Dept relating to the renovation project. This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to follow up closely on all queries to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
Key Responsibilities include the following :
1. Query Management:
- Address and manage queries from the Finance department related to basic accounting issues, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Demonstrate patience and persistence in following up on any outstanding issues or discrepancies, working with various stakeholders to reach resolution.
- Liaise effectively with the Finance team to resolve any concerns regarding financial documentation, displaying strong attention to detail and follow-through.
2. Capitalisation of Fixed Assets:
- Review payment line items to identify those requiring capitalisation.
- Assist in verifying documentation submitted by consultants and contractors regarding asset capitalisation, ensuring compliance with FSSC standards.
- Conduct thorough follow-up with external parties and internal teams to ensure the necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
- Support the FAD team in conducting physical checks to confirm that items are onsite prior to capitalisation and tagging.
- Update and maintain summary tabulations for progress claims to contractors and consultants.
- Handle all finance-related queries about payments and capitalisation, ensuring persistent follow-up until all issues are resolved.
3. Certification and Goods Receipting:
- Assist in the certification and goods receipting of electronic invoices for the renovation project.
- Ensure invoice accuracy by following up with purchasers for supporting documents and resolving any issues in the finance system.
- Exhibit strong follow-up skills to ensure that all required transactions are processed in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with fixed asset capitalisation and goods receipting.
- Strong communication skills and patience to effectively manage and follow up on internal and external queries.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy, while persistently driving tasks to completion.
