Responsibilities:
- Executes and completes the FPSO new built Hull project as per contractual specification and quality standard with agreed timeline and safely
- Enforces on HSE Focus IOGP/HIRA/GOLDEN Rule, Safety audit, Safety Campaigns and Drills. Weekly HSE walkthrough to focus on critical work area and carryout engagement of workforce on site.
- Oversees new build specifications, verifies designs, and ensures that the construction activities are complying to contract and engineering designs.
- Reviews construction progress against Project Schedule and report to the Hull delivery manager
- Ensures that all construction and installations to FPSO are performed according to project Quality control, NDE examiners, inspection, QA/QC document, report, and quality analysis -
- Ensures the new built hull is constructed according the latest revision of the issued drawings.
- Oversees hull fabrication and assembly works. To follow through the integration scope of work for module fabrication from overseas
- Ensures that the hull is commissioned as per project commissioning requirement
- Conducts daily/weekly/monthly meeting with shipyard (Builder), Client, Classification and etc
- Summarizes and issues minutes of Meeting, Presentation slide and reports (daily, weekly, and monthly)
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of Shipyard Operations will be an added advantage
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understands Shipbuilding role and regulation, classification society ABS / MODU / SOLAS /BRC Regulatory rules
- Good experience in Ship building industry. Expertise in Steelwork/Structure fabrication, construction, erection, assembly, and testing
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess good organizational, communication skills, presentation, and Reporting skills
- Possess leadership and supervisory skill to manage project team and shipyard
- Able to use Project related software (auto-cad viewer, Microsoft projects etc)
- Able to be deployed overseas for extended periods to support project needs when required
