Working hours:
* Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
* Fridays: 7.30am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
* Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
1) The ICT Trainer shall work closely with the Head of Department (HOD) for ICT to design and implement an ICT training programme for Primary 1 to Primary 6 pupils, aligned with the MOE Revised Baseline ICT Standards. Please submit a sample ICT plan and/or lesson plan from previous school engagements. Experience with the Student Learning Space (SLS) will be considered an advantage.
2) Collaborate with HODs from various departments and subject-level representatives to manage the ICT Training Programme and training schedules.
3) Assist in other ICT-related tasks, including facilitating and preparing students for ICT competitions during non-coaching hours.
4) Develop teaching content and resources during non-coaching hours to enhance the learning experience.
5) Assist in refreshing and updating the school’s website content. Basic to intermediate HTML knowledge will be considered an added advantage.
6) Plan and conduct simple coding lessons for Primary 3 to Primary 6 students in the ICT Club, incorporating Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. The final projects will be featured on the school website and integrated into school activities.
7) Assist the school in designing and creating digital media, such as graphic posters and videos, for school events during non-coaching hours. Please submit samples of personal digital art for reference.
8) Manage photography and videography for school events and classroom observations. Proficiency in photo/video editing software and experience handling photography equipment is required.
Qualification, Skill & Experience:
1) Minimum of 3 years' experience in conducting similar ICT-related programmes in Singapore Primary Schools.
2) Diploma in Infocomm and Technology, Multi Media, Graphic Design, or a related programme.
3) Must be MOE-registered.
4) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
5) Proficiency in Google Suite apps for Education.
6) Strong command of the English language.
7) Proficient in photography and videography, with prior experience in Photography or Video competitions being advantageous.
8) Proficiency in video and graphic editing software, with experience in graphic design being preferred.
9) Proficiency in Isomer for website publication.
10) Familiarity with Baseline ICT Skills and Digital Literacy, and the ability to plan and design ICT lessons incorporating SEL skills in students.
11) Proficiency in simple coding.
