Role:
- Lead sales efforts in assigned regions.
- Develop and expand assigned markets.
- Generate and pursue sales leads.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales updates to management.
- Manage customer relationships, feedback, and complaints.
- Stay informed about market requirements and user needs.
- Drive sales activities for both existing and new channels.
- Actively participate in trade shows, trade advertisements, and other marketing communications activities.
- Prepare reports covering CRM, sales pipeline, activities, performance, and plans.
- Oversee bid management.
- Collaborate with the Group sales network to expand the commercial pipeline.
- Handle any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the MD/Business Development Director.
Requirements:
- Background in technical or commercial fields.
- Strong commercial understanding and business acumen.
- Proven sales track record in the maritime industry (minimum 10 years’ experience).
- Experience selling to shipowners and charterers.
- Skilled in direct sales.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication.
- Hunter mentality with strong closing skills.
- Experience selling software solutions.
- Knowledge of the shipping and offshore sectors.
- Experience in energy optimization within the maritime industry is an advantage.
- Experience in marketing and producing marketing materials is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a mariner is an advantage.
- Holds a tertiary education with a recognized degree qualification.
