Roles & Responsibilities

- To Incharges for purchase, liaise & negotiation for non-trade items/services.
- Work with demand planner on forecast, taking into consideration of any seasonality, marketing plans, past stock-outs and plan the supply of goods accordingly
- Monitor stock levels, determine optimal reorder & restock points, order quantities and make purchasing decisions
- Highlight to business for any risk on supply constraint and mitigation plan.
- Plan and insurance of purchase order to vendor and monthly submission of rolling forecast to vendors for raw material planning.
- Cost sensitive in term of logistic cost under the area of distribution, cross border and international freighting and ensure reasonable freight cost without compromising service level and lead time.
Requirement
.
- Candidate with minimum Diploma and above in business and supply chain or any related field.
- 2-3 years experience in non-trade purchase with production planning background.
- Fluent in English (must be able to speak, read and write) and Malaysia. Mandarin speaking is advantages.
- Computer Literate specially in Microsoft Office.
- Team player with good communication skill, commitment and able to work under tight deadline. Good Interpersonal skill.
- Willing to relocate to Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru
