Job Description
• Main Duty - Customer Service Duty (mindset has to meet the realist challenges and demands of a Primary School setting)
• To answer phone calls, manage visitors, takes messages, responds to enquiries and provide general useful information (in a very dynamic environment where calls are volumous)
• Able to use school implemented IT system for administrative purposes.
• To handle daily varied demands and queries from parents / students / vendors / staff etc
• To call pupils absentees and to check with parents on their child’s status every morning.
• To call pupils to convey messages during ad-hoc / special events.
• To render first level assistance to walk-in pupils’ needs including sick & injured pupils. To escalate case to other colleagues in the office immediately if it is beyond superficial cases.
• To handle / support situation when pupils’ vomit, soiled their clothes.
General Duties
• To assist in canteen matters, utility, FAS application, arrears fee, bus booking, etc
• To help update the school activity notice board in the office (data accuracy is important)
• To maintain the forms cabinet in the office. All forms must be current and to be replenished constantly.
• To assist in general typing duties.
• To assist in Stores supplies management during school holidays
• To support any other general admin duties as and when required
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Full GCE ‘N’, or ‘O’ Level certificate or its equivalent
- Good communication and inter-personal skills in reception duties, preferably in school environment
- Good team player with high level of initiative
