Our client is a leading asset management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional investment solutions and client service. We are seeking a talented Investment Operations professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our investment strategies and ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution and settlement of trades across various asset classes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of portfolio positions, cash balances, and transactions with custodians and counterparties to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports, providing insights and updates to portfolio managers and senior management.
- Identify inefficiencies in current operational processes and recommend enhancements to streamline workflows and improve accuracy.
- Coordinate and produce client reports, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including trade reporting and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the investment management system, ensuring data consistency across all platforms.
- Work closely with investment teams, compliance, and risk management to support investment strategies and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CFA, CIPM) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or related roles within asset management or financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment strategies, and operational processes.
- Proficiency in investment management systems and tools; experience with data analysis and reporting software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams.
- Willing to work monthly alternate shift work arrangement (early morning to noon; or late morning to evening), including occasional public holidays
