Position: Portfolio Manager (Multi-Asset)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager with expertise in managing multi-asset portfolios and a proven track record in investment management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance and risk management of diverse portfolios, ensuring that investment strategies align with clients' financial goals. In addition to portfolio management responsibilities, the role requires proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japanese-speaking clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-asset portfolios, including equities, bonds, and alternative investments.
- Develop and implement investment strategies that align with client objectives.
- Monitor portfolio performance and adjust allocations based on market conditions.
- Collaborate closely with the Relationship Management team to support client servicing.
- Provide administrative support to the Relationship Managers, ensuring smooth operations.
- Communicate investment strategies and performance updates to clients in both English and Japanese.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing multi-asset portfolios with a strong track record.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, risk management, and portfolio construction.
- Native or business proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven investment decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Ability to work closely with the Relationship Management team and provide administrative support.
Preferred:
- CFA or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience working in a multi-family office or asset management firm.
