About the Role
Predominantly a field-based role, the Clinical Nurse Specialist (Operating Theatre Staff Nurse) is primarily responsible for providing in-theatre clinical support to our hospital-based customers during surgeries. Key responsibilities include:
- Attending surgical procedures and providing expert clinical/technical support to Surgeons and Hospital staff in the correct and safe use of Arthrex products
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing training to health care professionals including Surgeons, Perioperative Nurses and other Hospital Personnel
- Identifying customer needs, optimising on opportunities including recommending appropriate products that addresses customers’ pain points and/or passing on leads to the Sales Team
- Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience
About the Requirements
- Valid Singapore Nursing Board registration and min. 2-3 years Operating Theatre experience as a Scrub/Scout or Instrument Circulating Nurse
- Strong knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology, and ability to participate in on-call work on a monthly rotational basis (compensated with case allowance)
- Ability to quickly understand and communicate complex technical information, problem solver and adaptable to fast changing environments
- Self-starter who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team, highly organised, with exceptional customer engagement and relationship skills
