Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to execute both manual and automated testing processes, ensuring the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in testing tools such as Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and JMeter for performance testing, along with a deep understanding of testing practices, to deliver high-quality, robust software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute both manual and automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive software testing.
· Develop, code, and implement automated tests to enhance testing processes.
· Communicate with stakeholders to understand software requirements and provide feedback on issues and clarifications.
· Create standards and procedures to guide developers in ensuring software quality.
· Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs, and suggest solutions for improving software performance.
· Utilize JMeter to perform performance testing on APIs and web applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.
· Leverage UFT for automation testing to improve efficiency and coverage.
· Collaborate with product development and testing teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software projects.
· Track, analyse, and report quality metrics to assess software performance and reliability.
· Ensure the final product meets all software requirements before its release.
· Analyse product features to recommend changes for improved efficiency and user experience.
· Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation in software testing.
Key Qualifications:
· Experience in automation testing using Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
· Hands-on experience with JMeter for Performance testing of APIs and web applications.
· Strong understanding of manual and automated testing processes and tools.
· Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and development teams.
· Solid experience in analysing test results, identifying bugs, and providing solutions.
· Familiarity with software quality metrics and tracking methodologies.
· Banking industry experience is a plus.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
· Ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
· Familiarity with industry best practices for software testing.
· Strong knowledge of performance, security, and functional testing.
· Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
