As Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. Responsibilities include managing project scope, cost, schedule, staffing, and vendor relationships, as well as preparing status reports for upper management. You will work closely with clients, including major Chinese brand names, and report directly to the Director of Sales & Operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and communication documents.
- Communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders, and liaise regularly with them.
- Estimate required resources and develop employees in continuous improvement tools.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, aligning activities with corporate goals.
- Conduct root cause analysis, identify waste, and implement corrective actions.
- Draft budget proposals, recommend changes, and negotiate personnel acquisitions.
- Assess staffing needs and make adjustments during the project lifecycle.
- Set and manage project expectations, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts within the team.
- Plan and schedule project timelines, track milestones, and deliver progress reports.
- Manage scope changes and devise contingency plans as needed.
Required Skills:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
- 5-7 years in large-scale project management, including process development.
- Must have data centre experience.
- Proven ability to build relationships across functions.
- PMP certification and functional project management experience.
