Responsible for managing and developing a defined portfolio of corporate clients (primarily focusing in the South Asia market, particularly in India) within the large corporate and conglomerate segment, in accordance to the Branch’s business strategy and risk appetite (including but not limited to credit, financial crime, operational).
Responsibilities
- An individual contributor managing a portfolio of South Asia corporate clients particularly within the large corporate and conglomerate in India.
- Scope of duties would primarily be the provision of banking relationship management to a portfolio of South Asia corporate clients in India, which includes but not limited to corporate finance, risk management advice and end-to-end delivery of banking services, transactional products, financing (domestic and cross-border), trade working capital, treasury and hedging solutions.
- Expected to be tuned in to the changes in business landscapes and be able to execute or devise appropriate business growth strategies in India to drive optimum business performance.
- Work closely with Branch's and HO's stakeholders to ensure we are in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirement.
Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Business, Accountancy, Banking & Finance or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Banking
- Ability to excel under pressure and possess a positive attitude
- Proficient in spoken and written English (Chinese speaking candidates will be an added advantage)
- Frequent business travels to South Asia (India) is expected
- Candidates with CSD - Origination experience / background will be an added advantage and will be considered favorably
