Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day lab operations, ensuring equipment and supplies are available.
- Keep accurate records of lab activities and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., FDA, GMP).
- Support lab staff with scheduling, document management, and coordinating meetings or training.
- Handle inventory management, ordering supplies, and coordinating with vendors.
- Ensure the lab follows health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Arrange equipment calibration and repairs to keep lab instruments in working order.
- Help prepare for audits and regulatory inspections by keeping documentation up to date.
- Serve as the main contact for vendors and service providers.
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documents.
- Monitor lab budgets and spending.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Chemistry, Life sciences or related field (preferred).
- Experience in lab administration, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech QC setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiar with lab software and office tools (MS Office, etc.).
- Knowledge of lab safety standards and regulations (GMP, GLP).
- Good communication skills and ability to work with teams.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
