Responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.

We are looking for an experienced Transportation Import/Export Co-Ordinator to join our team in our SE Asia office in Singapore and reports to the Transportation team Lead. It is onsite based role. The role be first point of contact for the logistics service providers and internal stakeholders and managing international Air, Courier & Ocean shipments into site (Inbound) and managing outbound ocean mode shipments. This role will also be working very closely with Material planner, Customer service and Warehouse operations on daily basis.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Shipping

Inbound Transportation (Air, Ocean & Express/Courier )

· Managing shipments (FCL, LCL, Air, and Courier) from Global Suppliers for on time delivery to the Distribution Centre

· Shipment coordination with internal stakeholders and freight forwarders on delivery schedule

· Ensure full set of documentation of shipments is in compliance with Customs regulations before import into the site

· Working closely with the Quality team to review the damage to receiving goods

· Manage shipment claims related to forwarders' damage or shipment discrepancy and liaise with insurance providers for claims reporting

· Maintain the Master data tracker to ensure that all the shipments are up to date and visible to stakeholders

· Leading Process improvement initiatives and proposals to improve metrics

· Planning of bays for loaded containers to be trucked into SPDC

· Inform hauler when to truck in and truck out containers

· Update all ETAs, truck in and truck out dates into GOMs (systems) accordingly

Outbound Transportation

· Monthly FCL prebooking with forwarders

· Sourcing for alternative sailing for additional orders drop

· Sending LCL booking after shipment staged by warehouse

· Updating forwarder booking details into the sea tracker file

· Provide shipping document (DDA, VGM, Invoices) to forwarders

· Planning of bays for FCL Quality

· Working closely with the quality team for claims processes related to Freight Forwarders damages or shipment discrepancy

· Working closely with HSE to investigate root cause for safety incidents and provide recommendation if needed

· Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

· Reports any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.

· Complies with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.

· Engages in HSE training.

Others

· Develop logistics analytics to make operational performance and trends visible

· Lead and participate in weekly meeting with Operations team.

· Execute the daily operational logistics processes

· Work closely with stakeholders - internal and/or external to develop short term tactical improvements.

· Use the logistics system to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain

· Participate in functional process improvement teams

· Takes ownership and accountability for the inbound lead time challenges.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Preferred Qualifications:

· Any Degree in supply Chain/Logistics, Business, Engineering or at least 2-3 years’ work experience in Logistics

· At least 2-3 years’ work experience in work experience in Import/Export Transportation

· Experience in managing high volume of inbound and outbound flow

· Basic Knowledge of Import/Export shipping procedures and documentation will be critical

· Strong Verbal and written communications skills, details Oriented and Meticulous

· Possess a great sense of Responsibility

· Analytical mindset

· Experience using Microsoft Excel(Advanced), PowerPoint, Power BI and using other systems as required by team

Compensation and Benefits
