- Advise all personnels in charge of site on the measures to be taken in the interest of safety and health of the persons employed therein.
- Monitors the overall safety performance of the project, trend analysis, identifying unsafe conditions and procedures and recommending corrective actions.
- Inspect the site to determine whether there is any hazard or any description of manual labour used in the site which is of such a nature that is liable to cause risk or bodily injury to any person working or employed in the site.
- Responsible in establishing and maintaining all safety and health record-keeping system and liaise with Statutory Bodies with regards to any safety and health matters.
- Review method statements and risk assessment submitted by various subcontractors/vendor, offering improvements or any safety requirement that need to be incorporated and monitors compliance with the method statement while the work is being performed.
- Schedule and carry out regular site safety inspection on subcontractors/vendor (employees) and monitor their overall compliance and performance in the project and shall review with Project Manager on a regular basis on the subcontractors/vendor (employees) safety performance and safety activity status.
- Conduct daily toolbox meeting.
- Maintain proper OHSAS documentation at all.
