Position Overview
The BI Analyst – AI and Machine Learning will play a crucial part in automating and optimizing our processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and drive innovation in our operations. Reporting to the BI Development Manager, the BI Analyst is responsible for the design, development, testing, debugging and documentation of AI solutions. The incumbent ought to have a strong technical background and an aptitude for incorporating business domain knowledge into their work. He/she interacts frequently with business stakeholders and communicates technical information in easy to understand terms to team members, internal stakeholders and the management team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to optimize various processes within the semiconductor distribution operations.
- Design and deploy AI solutions to automate repetitive tasks, improve accuracy, and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead projects from inception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and achievement of project goals.
- Conduct regular assessments and optimizations of deployed AI systems to ensure ongoing performance and reliability.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders on AI and machine learning best practices.
- Stay updated on advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and recommend innovative solutions applicable to our industry.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3 years) in developing and deploying AI solutions, with a focus on machine learning techniques.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Java, with proficiency in relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data processing techniques.
- Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in the semiconductor industry or related field is a plus.
