Primary Objectives:
Assist to control and manage physical raw materials, packaging, and consumable items inventory at Warehouse. Responsible for the sampling activities at warehouse. Responsible for the safe and fast actualization of delivery-related goals, and inventory control at warehouse.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving/inspecting incoming materials, extract samples for QC inspection, and storing the materials in appropriate locations at warehouse.
- Responsible for unloading import shipments and inspecting shipping-related documentation against physical goods for any discrepancies. Any discrepancies shall be reported to QC/Purchasing/Supply Chain for follow up actions.
- Responsible for proper issuing of materials to Production department and other departments via system, documentation records, and physical transfer.
- Handle food ingredients and chemical waste disposal according to NEA guideline.
- Prepare export shipments by planning and executing the pick and pack ahead of FCL containers’ arrival date and load goods timely into export containers.
- Stock Take and Stock Check using barcode scanner and ERP system. Daily cycle count to maintain stock accuracy.
- Basic housekeeping of warehouse
- Ensure all inventory transaction (GRN, GIN, and Stock Adjustment Note) is updated within the timeline and stock accuracy in the system.
- Provides clerical support for warehouse
- Willing to take overtime if required.
Skills Required:
- Minimum GCE N or O level or relevant 2 years warehouse experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable to lift and handle goods up to 25kg, and able to maneuver heavy pallets of stocks through the facility.
- Possess a forklift driving license and ability to drive reach truck is an added advantage
