The Medical Innovation and Digital Lead, APAC, serves as a key strategic partner, focusing externally to bring insights, inform business strategies, and communicate information in an engaging way. This role is pivotal in aligning capability responsibility to drive performance, standardization, risk minimization/mitigation, consistency where necessary, and reducing inefficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the pipeline/paediatrics lead for APAC Hub for all internal stakeholders.
- Champion innovative approaches in virtual settings with less fragmented touchpoints but higher impact and meanings to HCPs
- Lead the medical digital ambition and design the digital roadmap for APAC implementing digital solutions in line with ViiV medical digital strategy (Medical precision engagement, medical data to insights, MIKE)
- Ensure the individualization of medical touchpoints with HCPs, Patients, scientific organizations at LOC level leveraging peer to peer exchange where possible through omnichannel approach.
- Lead the insights collection process for APAC to ensure consistency through digital tools, dissemination of findings and identify actionable tactics across portfolio.
- Support local execution for example identification of right medical audience, understanding level tracking, prioritisation of engagements, narrative development.
- Develop LOCs capabilities to deliver a tailored engagement experience to identified EEs and developing the medical audience to digital opinion leaders.
- Provide a strategic vision providing network and process solutions that improve operational excellence and enhance the satisfaction of customers experience.
- Define and implement meaningful metrics to demonstrate customer value and stakeholder understanding of value, ongoing benchmarking and measurement, and development of high performance.

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Min degree in pharmacy or science
- Min 5 years of medical affairs experience in pharmaceutical industry and Asia Pacific Market
- Experience in medical affairs activities related to HIV, infectious diseases and virology
- Significant experience within pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to think regionally and globally and represent an asset with impartiality, taking into account regional affiliation of stakeholders.
- Credibility to serve the regional business without perception of LOC bias.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate agreement between stakeholders in different LOCs.
- Working within a disciplined approach to Medical Affairs activities to ensure a focus on quality, compliance, scientific rigor, and operational excellence.
- Experience presenting to and influencing LOCs medical team as well as leadership team.
- Experience matrix working.
- Experience working with ambiguity.
