Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for all finance and accounting functions including cash forecasting, cash management, operational budgeting, accounting, auditing and financial reporting
- Responsible for timely monthly, quarterly, budget, forecast analysis and management report presentation
- Managing statutory financial accounts; P&L review, Balance sheet review and intercompany reconciliation, identifying and following up on areas of concern within the reconciliation.
- Preparing costing and pricing set up
- Work closely with Business Unit Managers/MD to drive performance through: -
- Monthly management P&L reviews and analysis
- Market segmentation and competitor analysis
- Cost management initiatives
- Prepare payroll processing, CPF, employment income tax, employment pass
- Liaising with external auditors on year-end audits and preparation of statutory reports.
- Liaising with corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Assist with legal matters and liaising with governmental bodies
- Liaise with external auditor and handle corporate taxation matters
- Implementing accounting policies and internal control procedures and ensuring compliance
- Able to manage multiple priorities and tight submission deadlines
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by the management
Requirement
- Degree in Accounting, Finance. ACCA/CA/CPA is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience preferably in Food & Beverage, Food Manufacturing, Equipment or commercial environment
- Well versed in FRS, tax regulations, laws and any compliance requirements
- Knowledge of accounting software MYOB is a plus
- Strong analytical skills is a must and able to work independently
