Assistant Marketing Manager

China Harbour (singapore) Engineering Company Pte. Ltd.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop the firms marketing strategy in detail among local market and overseas.
  2. With the help of subordinates, estimate market demand, and identify potential markets.
  3. Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  4. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  5. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  6. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  7. Finding and developing new markets and improving business development.
  8. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  9. Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  10. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  11. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Requirements:

  1. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  3. Experience in marketing or business development in construction/civil engineering.
  4. Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  5. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  6. Excellent organizational skills.
  7. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  8. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  9. Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
