Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement import strategies, coordinating with suppliers and third-party logistics for smooth operations
- Monitor shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery, updating systems like Navision regularly
- Manage the transfer of raw materials and finished products between warehouses and production plants
- Optimize warehouse storage and prepare monthly inventory forecasts for efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, company SOPs, and ISO standards
- Maintain accurate documentation for customs clearance and regulatory purposes
- Analyze and manage shipping costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction
- Address and resolve shipment issues, including delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Supervise and train the import shipping team, ensuring best practices are followed
- Use import management systems to track shipments and assess risks in the import process
Job Requirement(s):
- Minimum 7 years of relevant managerial experience in manufacturing or equivalent
- Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics
- Strong communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Navision knowledge
