Job Profile Summary:


You will conduct telemarketing calls to promote and assist in the application of product with clear and concise product knowledge and references, to existing bank customers. You are expected to drive and ensure sales target are met and able to identify cross-selling or up-selling opportunities. You will also have to deliver customer centric recommendations and build strong and long-term customer relationships.


Job Description:

  • Foster and enhance relationships with customers, with focus on product to complement the customers' existing portfolio
  • Achieve channel bancassurance targets in partnership segments through telemarketing and referrals
  • Achieve sales target set out by business
  • Handle assigned Client list/ base and focus on establishing higher contacts to maximize penetration
  • Correspond with customers through phone, e-mails, fax and/ or other electronic communications
  • Handle customers’ enquiries and/or objections with confidence
  • Collect customer information as needed to serve client and close sales
  • Closure and wrap up done as per set standards
  • Liaise with internal departments on policy fulfilment
  • Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in area of responsibility
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across partner bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Who we are looking for:

Competencies & Personal Traits

  • A minimum 2 years of related work experience with insurance CFMAS - M9, M9A, M5, HI exams will be required
  • Relevant experience in telemarketing with track record in sales is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment to make things happen
  • Effective engagement of stakeholders

Education:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Business or related fields of study

Language:

  • Good command of English and/or applicable local language
