We are looking for an experienced Bulk Non-ferrous Metals Trading Manager to lead and drive
the Group's international trading operations. This role offers a dynamic environment with
opportunities to work on large-scale non-ferrous metals trade, including copper, zinc, lead,
aluminium, nickel, and tin.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage bulk non-ferrous metals trading activities and operations, expanding the group's
international import and export of metals such as copper, zinc, lead, aluminum, nickel,
and tin.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring smooth
contract negotiations and execution in the metal trade.
• Monitor and assess market and trading risks, providing timely updates and relevant trade
information to management.
• Regularly report to management on transactions, financial performance, and profitability,
while overseeing daily trading activities.
• Develop and implement policies, business plans, and budgets for metal trading in
Singapore to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturers, suppliers, processors, shippers, and financial
institutions to gather and analyze business information.
• Stay updated on global market trends, providing proactive and creative strategies in
response to changes in international economic and political conditions.
• Forecast market trends, analyze and leverage the group’s resources and financial
strength to explore opportunities in strategic alliances, investments, acquisitions, and
partnerships with producers, processors, and consumers.
• Ensure the efficient operation of all support systems (trading, documentation, finance,
and coordination) to ensure smooth business processes and provide constructive
feedback.
• Maintain risk control within the framework set by management, ensuring business
stability.
• Ensure strict compliance with credit risk management policies, unless otherwise
approved by management.
Requirements:
A recognized degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in bulk non-ferrous metals trading, with a strong track
record of performance.
• Strong understanding of global metal supply chains, consumption trends, and economic
dynamics affecting the metals market.
• Knowledge of production and processing methods, logistics, and port operations.
• Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external
stakeholders, including senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.
