- Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs.
- Work closely with customers, production and suppliers to meet the quality requirements.
- Review / prepare, administer and implement Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other Operational procedures in accordance to the technical specifications, customer's surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices, and enforce the same on Operations in their execution.
- Work closely among inter-department to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
- Responsible for product quality management, implement quality plans, drive quality improvement projects and prepare quality report to identify problem areas and work on problem resolutions
- Interface with and handle customers/vendors on quality issues.
- Handle the customer quality/customer satisfaction issues for global and major customers, which include monitoring field complaints, coordinating investigation and following up within the business to ensure appropriate closure in a timely fashion.
- Assume the focal role for investigating high failure rate customer issues, coordinating the use of different resources to investigate the customer issues.
- Lead the internal team members in achieving the ISO9001:2015 accredited certification as well as customer-specific qualifications.
- Work closely with internal team members and external suppliers to address product-related quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc).
- Min. 3 year's relevant working experience in the Manufacturing/EMS/Semiconductor industry or experience in quality environment.
- Working knowledge in 5S, PFMECA, SPC & ISO 9000 series Quality system.
- Knowledge of International quality standards ISO.
- Strong knowledge and ability to read mechanical drawings with knowledge of CMM, profile projector, and measuring equipment.
