Responsibilities:
- Performing all Credit Administration related function pertaining to Syndicated / Bilateral loans excluding retail personal segment loan and trade finance advances of non-credit customers.
- Monitoring of the asset quality of all Corporate accounts. Analysis of alerts flagged in FACTIVA or any other source and note with your specific views and the impact on the credit quality of the loan
- Analysis of the stock market filings for listed borrowers’ and its impact on our credit quality
- Analysis of the stock / bond market performance for listed borrowers on weekly/monthly/quarterly/HY/Yearly intervals. Details of the same along with analysis of Axe sheet at same intervals of other banks on our borrowers will be put up.
- Analysis of quarterly results/annual reports for borrower accounts and variations with the risks / risk mitigation’s captured in the sanction proposal. Monthly performance of stock/bond market of the borrower corporates to be commented.
- Analyse and furnish month on month movement of prices in AXE sheet for our borrower accounts. Coordinate with other FIs Sales team for AXE sheets.
- To have a concall with the borrower/ facility agent / Home branch/ Nodal branch etc to understand the performance of the company / account.
- Analyse the share holding pattern of the Borrower Company/ change of directors/ Removal /appoint of new directors to be put up on monthly basis.
- To ensure compliance of Loan Grading and provisioning as per MAS 612 notice/ RBI guidelines, whichever is more stringent.
- Monitoring of Early Warning Signal (EWS) and escalation as per SOP along with specific inputs
- Periodic review of loan grading through quarterly borrower wise tracker and on account of delay in receipt of compliance certificate beyond the threshold period.
- Follow up with the borrower/ Agent for regularisation of irregular loans.
- Unit visits as per terms of sanction.
- Follow up of NPA and Advances under Collection Account (AUCA) and accounts removed from AUCA
- Checking of all function in Finacle including opening of account, disbursement, repayment, interest feeding, interest Checking of Daily Finacle reports like Finacle Loan diary, Limit excess report related to Corporate Credit Monitoring.
- Completion of Documentation process for allotted Credit Accounts based on the term sheet/facility letter prepared by the Credit & Syndication Dept and in co-ordination with legal counsel, creation of Document files and safe custody of the same.
- Recovery of processing fee/ other charges for various Credit Administration functions.
- To ensure compliance of Condition Precedent (CP) before disbursement. Follow up for compliance of other Condition subsequent (CS) as per terms of sanction/Facility Agreement and perfection of security.
- Coordination with Treasury Team for arranging funding for the scheduled disbursement.
- Authorization of Roll overs of Loans in Finacle.
- Application of proper interest rates as per the sanction terms
- Verification/Authorization financial payment messages) and non-financial messages through Finacle.
- Checking of follow-up messages, roll over notices, interest advice to borrowers and other lenders/participating branches.
- Checking of notice/advices to borrower for payments.
- Correspondence with borrowers/agents through email or phone calls for their confirmation on payment due or on clarification of various issues relating to different clauses of facility agreement, interest periods, compliance certificate etc.
- Verify the funds positioning sheet prepared by Executive ( Credit Admin)
- Maintenance/ safe custody of Credit file/ loan documents/ title deeds etc., / security documents.
- Facility Agency and Nodal Agent functions of advising loan drawdowns and other credit operations viz sharing of loan documents, approvals, obtention of information from the borrower and miscellaneous approvals from other lenders.
- Checking and verifying the input sheet and verification of transactions in Finacle.
- Liaising with the other lenders/branches regarding their payment instruction & confirmation, interest rate and compliance of Condition Subsequent if any.
- Preparation of regulatory returns (MAS, RBI) at stipulated intervals. Maker and Checker mechanism is put in place for verification.
- Preparation of various IBG returns and internal reports (including Adhoc and Miscellaneous reports for internal meetings and top management)
- Attending to Internal and External Audits including credit audit, statutory audit, internal audit related to Corporate loan accounts and ensure rectification of deficiencies pointed out. Addressing any loan related queries from regulators.
- Follow-up for submission of periodic financials and compliance certificates including testing of laid down covenants
- Attending to review of Credit admin department SOP, manuals, policies and other activities as per laid down frequency. Review of list of empanelled lawyers and valuers at laid down frequency.
- Submission of Quarterly, half yearly and Annual returns to IBG and Local Regulator.
- Checking of CISLA, CCDP report and MIS sites on ongoing basis so as to ensure sanctity of data.
- Working out quarterly ECL provision figures in the ECL model as per the methodology/SOP document.
- Compliance to various action points emerged in committee and Review meetings related to Credit Administration within timelines
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent, preference will be given to those who hold master’s degree in the field of Banking/ finance and have done courses related to Banking
- Banking experience of minimum 10 continuous years, out of which minimum 05 years of experience in a bank in Credit Management.
- Very good understanding of financial statements.
- Sound knowledge of banking systems/processes/procedures.
- Good management skills and analytical mindset, one who can effectively analyse a situation and make decisions to address issues/problem.
- Excellent communication and inter personal skills with the ability to Interact with all levels of staff and top management
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
