Responsibilities
- Work rotating shifts to support 24x7 data centre operations and critical facilities.
- Monitor BMS systems and critical equipment (fire safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical) continuously.
- Serve as first responders for incidents, performing troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Handle remote hands requests in line with Operational and Service Level Agreements.
- Accurately document activities and requests in the STT GDC Web Portal following ITIL standards.
- Implement data centre safety, security, and customer support policies and procedures.
- Oversee onsite security operations, including managing personnel and security software systems.
- Coordinate contractor and vendor activities, review PTW documents, and enforce safety procedures.
- Plan and support preventive and reactive maintenance with minimal service disruption.
- Provide reports to stakeholders, update SOPs/EOPs, and support asset inventory and procurement activities.
Requirements
- ITE or Diploma in Computing, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in 24x7 data centre or facility operations, or with relevant qualifications.
- General knowledge of M&E and Network Infrastructure.
- Broad knowledge of data centre systems (PDUs, UPS, DC Rectifier, Generators, CRAUs, Chillers, etc.).
- Relevant certifications in facilities management or data centres (e.g., ITIL, CDCP, CDCS).
- Knowledge of cloud technology, networks, data centre facilities, system applications, and IT systems.
- Familiarity with certification standards (LEED Gold, BCA-IDA Green Mark, Uptime Tier III, ISO standards, etc.).
- Willingness to be on 24x7 standby for additional manpower coverage.
