Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Purchase Order (PO) administration with suppliers including but not limited to day-to-day PO placements, rescheduling, cancellation, return to vendor (RTV), rework and conversion PO
  • Oversee and manage products delivery from suppliers
  • Manage buy/sell and consignment material availability and shipment to suppliers and related monthly consignment inventory confirmation & reconciliation activities at suppliers, including annual on-site stock count requirement at supplier facilities
  • Manage and follow-up with suppliers for shipment or backfill of components for products shipped to ASM on Supplier Product Deviation Authorization (SPDA) approval
  • Responsible to generate nett demand signals to suppliers based on weekly Build Plan changes and to review and manage demand-supply and commitment from suppliers
  • To rigorously drive, review and manage suppliers recovery plans and activities for changes that impact supplier deliveries to ASM and to drive improvement plans for recovery
  • Ensure delivery of goods and services are in accordance to Factory requirement dates and comply to supplier contractual agreements
  • Support & execute inventory sellback initiatives to suppliers as part of Inventory management & reduction activities
  • Support inventory buyback activities from suppliers for excess inventory at suppliers based on engagement and approval from Commodity team
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing to review and assess option or requirement for product deliveries to ASM on Engineering Spec Waivers (ESW) or SMRA.
  • Work closely with ASM cross-functional teams (Change Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Project Management, Commodity, BU) for design change or end-of-life (EOL) cut-in management at suppliers
  • Support Commodity team to scrutinize potential inventory exposure impact due to design changes or EOL cut-in implementation to mitigate inventory, material liability & excess and obsolescence risks
  • Monitor cost, schedule and performance aspects of suppliers
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Provide data and feedback on supplier performance and participate in supplier performance review
  • Acting as interface between suppliers and business regarding tactical issues, maintaining continuity of supply by taking ownership of tactical issues, facilitating work through others, and driving the team to closure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing, planning or supply chain management experience
  • Strong sense of responsibility and results driven
  • Experience in SAP system and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SAP ECC, SAP PLM, SAP Ariba
  • Strong and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical and negotiation skills
  • Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of supply chain and materials flow concepts
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and critically think in a dynamic environment
