ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle SG spares RFQ-sales processes from start to end.
- Develop and execute strategies to effectively market and sell spare parts.
- Draft and submit detailed proposals, including both technical specifications and commercial terms.
- Communicate with clients, negotiate terms, and ensure their needs are met throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate closely with HQ in China for technical support and training.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through high-quality and frequent interactions.
- Manage ongoing project activities and provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify growth areas and take proactive actions to expand the spares business in Singapore.
WORKING REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roles related to sales, purchasing, or project management, preferably within the spare parts.
- Strong maritime technical acumen, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in managing RFQ-sales processes and preparing detailed proposals.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable with remote work arrangements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and spend approximately 1 month in China for initial training.
- Ability to act on initiative in a proactive manner and manage time effectively.
- Candidates who can communicate in Mandarin will be highly preferred, as many of our customers and colleagues speak Chinese as their mother tongue.
