1. Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in QA/QC in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Hands-on experience with quality testing tools and procedures.
- Experience with ISO standards or similar quality management systems.
3. Skills:
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, quality control procedures, and testing techniques.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and liaising with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in identifying and correcting issues.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and implement quality improvement processes.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with quality management software and tools (e.g., SAP, ERP systems, or statistical analysis tools).
4. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and standards in production.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify product defects and recommend solutions to improve processes.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports, such as inspection and test plans (ITPs) and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure that products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
5. Certifications (Optional but preferred):
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
