As a Delivery Manager, you will oversee a product built on Agile principles and strive to implement best practices and cutting-edge tools. You will be responsible for delivering the product, removing obstacles for your team, and managing both high-level planning and detailed execution as needed. Your role will be central to creating high-performing teams where members are enthusiastic about their work.
What to Expect:
- Deliver projects and products using appropriate Agile project management methodologies, with frequent learning and iteration.
- Recommend the nature and scope of current and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements.
- Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed requirements and overseeing product development.
- Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with marketing and production teams.
- Lead a collaborative, dynamic planning process, prioritizing tasks based on team capacity and capabilities.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Understand the technical aspects of the project, including system capabilities and limitations.
- Communicate technical insights to both internal and external audiences.
- Support the Product Owner with grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Define the roadmap and ensure user stories are created in tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Groom the product backlog, prioritize user stories, technical tasks, and bug fixes for sprints.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, User Experience Designers, and Engineers to plan activities and timelines for each release.
- Track application bugs, assess their impact and severity, and follow up to resolve any issues.
- Support the team in resolving impediments or issues identified during daily stand-ups.
- Bridge communication between multiple teams (business and technical), including creating documentation or presentations when necessary.
- Measure project development velocity, manage project risks, and escalate significant risks as needed.
- Continuously gather user feedback, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.
- Assist with government processes such as procurement, project finance, and other administrative tasks in accordance with government policies and documentation requirements.
How to Succeed:
- Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
- Project Experience: Demonstrate experience with project budgeting and asset procurement, and have successfully delivered complex and large applications within a cross-functional team.

Preferred:
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with using, maintaining, and customizing software development tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, etc.
- Advanced Experience: Experience in ops-tech integration, AI/ML creation and implementation, SaaS platform management, UI/UX design and research strategy, and go-to-market strategies for software services.
- Government Knowledge: Understanding of government-to-government relationships and familiarity with public service policies.
- Strategic Experience: Proven track record in defining and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
