Roles & Responsibilities
Description:
● Assist in the implementation of business development strategies and to win projects for the company.
● Manage relationship with existing and potential clients to develop new opportunities and advance organisation’s business interests.
Responsibilities:
● Identify business opportunities and maintain both local and cross-border project pipelines.
● Identify, build, and manage long-term business relationships with clients and strategic cross-border partners mainly located in Vietnam.
● Assist senior management in negotiating with Vietnam real estate partners on pricing and contract terms, credit terms and ensuring payments are received on time.
● Provide additional support to local team by liaise with architects, PE, RTO, authorities, consultants, project related personnel for approvals and settling any technical problems.
● Attend site meetings.
● Conduct project review and creating details reports for senior management, including translating Vietnamese report into English.
● Manage day-to-day transactional buying activities to ensure goods, materials and ensure no supply disruptions.
● Manage procurement activities with the focus on localizing material supply from the Vietnam market and reduce cost and lead time.
● Responsible for both local and Vietnam suppliers’ contract management including negotiation of new contract, renewal contracts.
● All other Ad-hoc duties assigned from time-to time.
Requirements:
● Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel in a multi-national environment.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, verbal and written communication skills in English, Chinese and Vietnamese would be an advantage.
● Process minded with strong analytical skills.
● Adaptability to a fast-changing environment.
● Able to work independently and under time pressure.
● Possess good attitude, self-motivated, result oriented, flexible and adaptable to changes positively.
● Good knowledge in MS Office tools.
● Working experience in Vietnam or emerging market would be an advantage.
● Knowledge land rights and land regulations in Vietnam would be an advantage.
● Travelling to Vietnam is required.
