LOVE, NILS is a Singapore-registered IPC charity; our mission is to provide high quality supportive programmes that provide meaningful psychosocial support to our beneficiaries – children with cancer and their families.
We are seeking a resourceful and dedicated Fundraising Manager to lead our Fundraising Department in planning and executing our fundraising campaigns, donor management, sponsorships, grant applications and all things business development for our organisation.
This is a highly collaborative role that focuses on our Donor Journey, working with a diversity of stakeholders (individuals, corporations, schools, community foundations and government etc). This role will work closely with our Programmes and Community Development department to ensure seamless synergy across the organisation’s programmes and fundraising strategies.
Reports to: Executive Director
Work arrangement: Hybrid (in office & work from home)
Compensation: Basic monthly + yearly performance bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities: Donor Management & Grant Applications:
Donor and Sponsor Management
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, outright donations, major gifts and sponsorship strategies to meet annual fundraising goals
- Set up online fundraising campaigns on giving.sg, give.asia etc.
- Maintain and update donations and donor records in a timely manner using our Donation Management System (Octopus 8) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore
- Manage donor relationships and outreach strategies to maximise donor retention and engagement
- Research, engage and steward sponsorship deals with corporations and organisations
- Ensure all fundraising activities and campaigns of the organisation are in compliance with charity regulations in relation to charitable fundraising in Singapore – manage charity permit applications
- Manage the end-to-end fundraising and donations (outright and in-kind) component for our major fundraising event – annual gala dinner
- Develop and create fundraising collateral materials
Grant Administration
- Oversee the preparation and manage the end-to-end grant management process, including gathering required data, documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely submission, with emphasis on multi-year and small grants applications
- Strong grant writing skills and working closely with various departments for data and insights, craft persuasive proposals and communications to attract and retain grant funding
- Research and identify potential sources of grant funding from both public and private entities. Prepare and submit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and organisational goals
- Develop and maintain a grant tracking system to monitor key dates, deliverables, and reporting requirements. Prepare and submit grant-related reports to funders as required
- Ensure adherence to best practices in fundraising, grant management and PDPA compliance
In-Kind Donations and Merchandise
- Oversee in-kind donations and ensure proper receipts of every contribution are recorded in compliance with IPC charity regulation
- Manage donations from toy drives, art works created by beneficiaries and any other in-kind contributions
- Manage the organisation's merchandise inventory and sales at public and private events
Evaluation and Reports
- Monitor and measure performance (KPIs) to optimise results and meeting quarterly and annual goals
- Research and analyse what other similar social service agencies / charities are doing locally and internationally
- Collect campaign analytics and feedback from sponsors and partners for annual report and fundraising evaluation
- Provide solutions to improve our strategies
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
- 3+ year experience in fundraising, business development or related field
- Previous experience working or volunteering in non-profit or social service agencies a plus
- Highly resourceful with strong interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
- Self-motivated and target driven with a keen sense of innovation
- Flexible to work occasional weekends and evenings (time off in lieu will be given)
