Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu, ensuring quality and consistency in every meal
- Assist in meal planning, preparation, and daily kitchen operations
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meet safety and hygiene standards
- Manage kitchen inventory, including sourcing and ordering ingredients when necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, catering, or similar environment
- Familiarity with a wide range of cooking techniques and cuisines (e.g., Chinese, local dishes, etc.)
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a team
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary certification or relevant experience is an advantage
