Responsibilities:
1. Accounting:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Handle full set of accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and accuracy.
- Prepare presentations and reports
- Provide support during internal and external audits. Includes but not limit to in preparing audit schedules, gathering required documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Maintain proficiency in accounting standards, regulations, and industry developments. Pursue ongoing professional growth.
2. Administrative:
- Manage claim reports.
- Answer phones and emails efficiently.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, ERP accounting system).
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
