Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D and AR/VR applications using Unity3D for digital twin projects.
- Design and implement digital twins of physical objects, systems, or processes, integrating real-time data from IoT devices, sensors, and other data sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and data scientists, to ensure digital twins accurately represent their physical counterparts.
- Optimize digital twin applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness across various platforms (PC, mobile, AR/VR).
- Utilize Unity’s physics engine, animation systems, and AI to simulate real-world behavior of the digital twin.
- Integrate real-time data into Unity from various APIs, cloud services, and databases.
- Implement data visualization and user interaction features to allow users to analyze and manipulate the digital twin.
- Conduct performance analysis and debugging for both the Unity application and the data integration process.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in IoT, digital twins, and simulation systems.
- Contribute to the development of new features, tools, and workflows to improve the efficiency of digital twin solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong experience in Unity3D development using C#.
- Proven experience in digital twin development, including integration of real-time data from physical systems.
- Proficiency in working with IoT devices, sensors, and APIs for real-time data ingestion and simulation.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and simulation of physical objects and processes.
- Strong understanding of game physics, AI, and animation in Unity to simulate real-world conditions.
- Experience in developing for AR/VR platforms like Oculus, HoloLens, or HTC Vive.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data streaming technologies (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure Digital Twins, MQTT).
- Experience with data visualization frameworks and tools.
- Experience with Azure Digital Twins, Siemens MindSphere, or other digital twin platforms.
- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics for enhancing digital twin performance.
- Experience with 3D modeling tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, edge computing, and big data technologies.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols like OPC-UA or Modbus.
