Shipment Coordination:
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other relevant parties to arrange timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any potential delays or issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production,warehouse etc.) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and shipment execution.
Documentation Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipping and export/import documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export control requirements, and other relevant trade laws.
- Prepare and submit necessary documents for customs clearance and other regulatory processes.
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and certifications for international shipments.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving shipping-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status, documentation requirements, and any potential delays.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or documentation roles, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, export/import documentation, and customs regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with shipping/logistics software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
