Position Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee the installation of digital screen panels at multiple bus stop locations. This role requires strong project management expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in managing technical installations in urban environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation of screen panels across designated bus stops, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, procurement) and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, technical, and environmental standards.
- Identify and manage potential risks, addressing issues as they arise to minimize delays.
- Ensure proper testing and functionality of the screen panels before handing over to relevant departments.
- Prepare regular progress reports for upper management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing technical installation projects, preferably in public infrastructure.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with digital display technology and installation processes is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2 certification preferred).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and permit processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
