- Drafting, processing purchase and sales contracts or counters based on trading recaps.
- Routine operation works including contract checking, Letter of Credit issuance, B2B L/C match.
- Follow-up the status of the L/C progress and solve the issues.
- Prepare export documents as per LC requirements, export documentary negotiation, import bill settlement, or bank instructions, calculation of laytime, etc.
- Check vessel itinerary and report it to relevant parties.
- Prepare, monitor, and verify all shipping documents from suppliers.
- Send the shipping instructions of materials for shipment and make sure to have a copy sent to relevant parties.
- Arrange payments to suppliers on time and monitor receivable payments from customers.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the shipments are in good order.
- Liaise with internal parties from headquarters, subsidiary companies, finance teams to follow up on credit and logistic matters.
- Understand company's KYC requirements/process and initiate KYC registration with counterparty upon request from all internal stakeholders primarily with traders.
- Responsible for the administration of third party (non-trading) office related services, i.e., office rental, office supplies, utilities and other services excluding IT systems and communication systems with the Beijing Head Office.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Shipping/Logistics, International Trade, Economics and other related.
- Willingness to learn and keen interest to work in the biofuel sector.
- Strong analytical ability, team player, meticulous, and good communication skills, with the ability to self-start.
- Pro-active and able to take initiative to pre-empt problems and complete tasks.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in Beijing.
