Platform and Transformation (“P&T”) is the team responsible under BOS Global COO (“GCOO”) to build the WM Platform of the future across all offerings, all teams, and all locations. The team is responsible for strategic initiatives including building Channels, Wealth & Execution platforms as well as Regulatory and Risk Transformation. The team is also in charge of financial markets and client data as well as the Agile practice at BOS.
Reporting to the Order Management and Execution Platform Lead, the Product Owner is responsible for the delivery of best-in-class execution systems to our clients and Front Office for FX, FX Derivatives, EQ Derivatives, Interest Rates and Credit Derivatives. The systems are used for order capture as well as order execution and settlement across BOS’ OTC and Derivatives offerings.
This is a persistent role that goes beyond an individual project.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Define strategic product vision for OTC & Derivatives Order Management and Execution journeys with customer experience/journey at the core of the design and priorities.
- The PO is responsible for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the squads while maintaining the conceptual integrity of the features/ components in full alignment with business stakeholders across Businesses, Markets, Segments and Locations.
- Lead an Agile squad comprising of Business and Technology partners to drive timely and quality delivery against the Product backlog. Drive User Story grooming & Sprint Planning.
- Define acceptance criteria for user stories and implement effective testing practices before rolling our new features & enhancements.
- Manage user testing, system training and rollout planning.
- Track and report User engagement, adoption metrics, and develop plans for driving User Satisfaction
- Areas under responsibilities include pre trade, order taking and order entry blotters, order execution, order confirmation and reconciliation together with OPS.
- Together with the Platform Lead, The PO will be engaging with management and key stakeholders such as but not limited to Senior BOS Management (CEO, COO, ISG Head, CIO, Head of FIMs, FO/PB Heads, L&C…) as well as senior managers in Technology and OPS as well as GCOO and P&T colleagues and OCBC and OSPL stakeholders.

Requirement:
- Degree, Masters degree in Computer science, Technology, Finance
- Experience in managing squads and driving changes with Agile methodology.
- Relevant Agile certifications or qualification is advantageous.
- 10 years minimum of strong experience in Change/Project Management, delivering complex, cross-functional projects, in Banking.
- Strong domain knowledge of Financial Products, OTC and Derivatives as well as Trading Systems and Order Placement, Execution and Post trade processes and workflows
- Experience with FinIQ is a must have.
- Ability to understand and document business process flows, define Target Operating Models, and User Guides for key applications.
- Ability to co-ordinate with stakeholders across functions and teams and manage complex interactions.
- Strong communication skills, logical thinking and strong intellectual curiosity and desire to improve how things are done.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to lead and influence delivery teams comprising of Business Analysts, tech analysts, and developers.
- Proficiency with MS Office toolset, Jira, Data analysis toolset.
