The Senior Key Account Manager shall secure short and long-term profitable business for the portfolio of Huawei Technologies with Telenor group and their associated global operations through proactive business development and management of internal resources based on fundamental understanding of the customers' business, network operations and objectives. Act with strong authority and accountability to develop the business relation and actively contribute to making customers successful.
As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for following tasks:
- Representing complete Group level procurement account portfolio.
- Leading Group sales projects, including negotiations throughout the sales process.
- Helping the organization to innovate and to develop new business models based on customer needs and requirements.
- Lead critical sales and cooperation projects in sales domain, including Wireless, Fixed network, Core and IT etc.
- Ensuring Customer satisfaction.
- Working closely with local internal BU operations to ensure quality and profitability in project operation,included project management and negotiation.
- Developing Sales account plans in line with the regional strategy.
- Building relationships with senior customer executives to achieve "trusted partner" status and address the entire efficient network operations business needs of the customer.
- Managing the overall Huawei relationship with the customer based on fundamental understanding of the customers' Global/local network operations business and stakeholder objectives.
- Developing the long term business with the customer by building and maintaining key relationships and trust as well as identifying strategic partnerships for profitable business opportunities based on long/short term services delivery.
- Ensuring effective and efficient deployment of the Sales Process as defined within the Huawei overall Business Process.
In order to be successful, we are looking for candidate with following qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering.
- 7+ years combined relevant experience in Telecommunication Sales. Proven Experience in sales organization in major telecom player with clear track record of major successful sales projects or Senior management experience in telecom enterprise organization.
- eTOM and/or ITIL qualification/knowledge required.
- Strong business acumen and good insight into customer's business priorities.
- Excellent sales management capability, preferably with key account management or with senior sales management experience
- A business leader with the vision to create business opportunities in strategically important areas, ie. Wireless ,Fixed Network , IT, etc. Familiar with the telecom solutions ; possessing the knowledge of markets, products, processes, etc.
- Ability to work closely with the customer in order to identify, sell and agree the business benefit to the customer's business with a profitable arrangement for both parties.
- Strong business and financial awareness to ensure good understanding of implications that various courses of action will have on cost and revenue.
- Strong focus on achieving operational excellence results with good strategic thinking, good leadership skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills, Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese to liaise with overseas and local Chinese speaking associates.
- Willingness to travel at times.
