JOB BRIEF

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales for the company’s designed innovative and high-quality luxury lighting products for clients in various industries such as hospitality, retail, residential, and commercial spaces, generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating sales, meeting sales targets, and maintaining clients’ information.

The primary focus will be identifying potential clients, cultivating strong relationships, understanding their lighting needs, creating excellent sales pitches, meeting new clients, fostering good relationships to maintain future sales, and providing tailored solutions to meet clients’ requirements.

Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media, preparing appropriate presentations on products and services, and creating frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data. Participating on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences, negotiating/closing deals and handling complaints or objections. Collaborating with team members to achieve better results gathering feedback from clients or prospects and sharing with the sales team.

The Sales Executive reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Charismatic and skilled person, responsible for approaching potential clients to inform them about our products and services, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to ensure their business in the future.

2) Have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in sales and with sales knowledge to create a compelling sales pitch.

3) Prospect and generate leads through market research, networking, and cold calling to identify potential clients interested in aesthetic lighting solutions.

4) Contact potential and existing clients on the phone, by email, and in person, and understand their lighting requirements, preferences, and budgets.

5) Maintained quality service to enforce company standards, handled client questions, inquiries, and complaints and conducted thorough assessments of client spaces to determine optimal lighting solutions, including product selection, placement, and customisation options.

6) Collaborate closely with the design and technical teams to develop customised lighting proposals and presentations tailored to each client's needs. Present and demonstrate the company’s lighting products and solutions to clients, effectively articulating the features, benefits, and value proposition.

7) Have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of lighting technologies and trends, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

8) A dynamic and results-oriented candidate specializing in aesthetic lighting solutions and staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position the company’s products in the market.

9) Prepare and send quotes and proposals and manage the sales process through the sales order processing system. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for regular review and analysis.

10) Deep understanding of lighting technologies, trends, and applications, with the ability to provide technical advice, and create compelling sales pitches and solutions to clients.

11) Build and maintain the client database and meet the monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the management.

12) Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the company’s brand and expand its market presence.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1) A degree in marketing, preferably in the lighting industry or related field.

2) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, good negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to gauge client needs.

3) Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for the company and the client. Experience working in sales and with a charismatic personality.

4) Work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, possess a good and positive working attitude, and reach out to potential clients to inform them about our products and services.

5) Hands-on experience in the sales order processing system and completing all paperwork relating to sales.

6) Valid driver's license and clean driving record, and with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience with excellent client service and sales skills.

7) Proficiency in MS Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
