· Provide Level 1-2 support for IBM AIX operating systems and related technologies
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues on IBM AIX systems.
· Perform system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance of AIX servers.
· Proficient in virtualization technologies such as SR-IOV,SEA, PowerVM Virtual I/O Server (VIOS), HACMP,Spectrum Scale(GPFS)
· Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
· To perform disaster recovery support and testing on IBM Aix sytems.
· Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AIX systems into the overall IT infrastructure.
· Develop and maintain documentation related to AIX systems and configurations.
· Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.
· Identify and implement security measures to protect AIX systems from potential threats.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in AIX and related technologies.
· Experience in managing complex AIX environments.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Specialist - Power Systems or IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems, are a plus.
